Photo of my final model

final render

digital models

For my rendering I was trying to imitate rollercoasters but keeping sense of digital space at the same time. So I used metal as my main material and plain green background. It's possible to see models through the front one which has a special construction that immitates rollercoaster rail.

Final lazercut model

Rendered digital model

experimanting with materials and development

Connection of the details was a bit of a trouble for me. Connection in the way I planned - acrylic sticks - failed. The sticks were just slipping the holes.

So I tryed T-shape details of different thikness. Unfortunatelly none of them fit.

I also tryed fishing string and beads for connection and, even thoug, beads looked quite nice, the cubes were dispersing.

Finally I absolutely accidentially tryed matches. And they fit unexpectably perfectly.
